A thunderbird nest is a place where a thunderbird  - a shaman - makes a nest with big stones. It is a spiritual "place of power". The nest is utilized to access our natural thunder for guidance, clarity and personal vision. Pictured here are stone thunderbird nests I have constructed and use myself as a thunderbird. I use these wilderness sites to teach old, traditional shamanism ways, to do healing work with people and for ceremonies. I also utilize these nests for my own spiritual practices and needs.
