Explore Bird Mountain

The top of Bird Mountain is a beautiful place. It is also quite a mysterious place! Here exist 6 boulders (below) that form an unusual arrangement which aligns to an old revered "bird" constellation in the sky. The Greeks named it Cygnus - The Swan. But long ago, here on this continent, this stellar bird was called the Great Sky Bird. Or the "Skeleton Bird" because it's whole body looks like it's made of skinny bones! The great mystery is this: When these big stones are connected (as below) each one appears to stand for a star. And when all the stones are seen together, they create a mirror image of the 6 stars of the Great Sky Bird flying high up in the northern sky! Alas this is why I believe the mountain is a lost sacred site; a location once utilized by thunderbirds - shamans - and connected to the ancient ways of "bird shamanism" that originated in Siberia millennia ago.
